Nokia bots is an experimental project that is introduced from the Nokia Beta Labs. This software is basically a collection of small utility programs that are active on your phone all the time. Do perform some tasks which are useful and worthy for your phone.
These bots learn from your usage patterns and other preferences so that you can have a better experience on your mobile phone with their own customized shortcuts and tricks. These add-ons or bots, as we rather say, will automatically configure and activate themselves.
Some of the bots that are a part of this app are:
- Profile Bot: This profile bot is used for customization of profiles, themes and settings that are relevant to your mobile phone. This profile can be used to set the phone at silent mode during the meetings or you can suggest various profile changes that can be automatically activated at the click of a button.
- Alarm Bot: This is excellent utility software that can be used to wake up calls or the silent profiles at night. The bot will keep a track of the phone usage statistics and will suggest certain options like home screen during silent mode of the ringer volume that can be set during it.
- Ahortcut Bot: This bot will manage and update your apps that have been downloaded from the Ovi store. You can easily browse through the most downloaded apps from your home screen without undergoing any kind of hassles. Your preferences will be recorded and learnt by the bot and thus only those apps will be shown to you in which you are interested.
- Battery Bot: This bot will observe your battery patterns and will try out some ways so that your battery life can be improved. The bot will try to terminate all those unnecessary apps when you are sleeping. If your battery is low, then you will be notified to charge your battery.
