ActiveFile is a file management application for Symbian 5th edition touch screen devices. The default file manager application which comes with device is not capable enough to do advance file operations. The ActiveFile application provides you a complete file explorer as well as manager.
When you launch ActiveFile, it shows you a list of the “drives” (e.g. internal memory, storage card, etc) on your mobile, along with a few virtual file systems representing your mobile’s running processes, your inbox and tasks. You can navigate by tapping a folder or filename. ActiveFile makes it very simple to select files and cut, copy and paste them between locations on your mobile, just like you do in PC.
ActiveFile application also provides you functions like battery monitor, a memory indicator and the ability to browse a list of currently running processes. The file search function lets you search any file on your mobile. Files can be encrypted and decrypted in case you are concerned about security. It also lets you search and read mail and SMS and export them to text files.
ActiveFile is a very advance file manager application. This application works with mobiles such as Nokia N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5530 XpressMusic, 5800 XpressMusic, 5230, 5233, 5235, Nokia C6 & Nokia N8 Mobiles.
