Mute Camera Sound In Nokia 5800, N97, Nokia 5530

mute-cameraI am sure all of you at some point or the other have wanted to turn of the camera/shutter sound while taking pictures or videos for a variety of reasons. While on a handful of product codes you can simply turn of the ‘Warning Tones’ from the profiles menu to silence the camera tone, on most handsets that tip doesn’t work.

Enter this exceedingly small patch (under 1KB) that you can install to get rid of the annoying sound. There is no need to ‘hack’ your phone for this to work.

* Install it and turn off the ‘Warning tones’ from the profiles menu. (If the warning tones are already set to off, then turn them on and then off).

* If the camera sound is still not off, restart the phone once.

    please please please guys always sign the app before installing, if you don’t have certificate and key of your mobile for installing the app then please check certificate key page for more details

    you can download any unsigned app and sign with provided certificate & key , just once you’ve need to request for certificate .

    I’m using a Nokia 5800 MX Navigation Edi. I continued installation of the signed s/w even after it says “not compatible with phone & this s/w is for development only”. I had to restart the phone to make it work. But IT WORKED without any problems. I appreciate your effort for providing this s/w. Thanks a bunch.
